[ Goal 1: Provide a Home for Orphans]:
Over the past eight years of working with Pastor Edwin and his wife Bujji in Narasaraopet, India, we have watched as they have taken in many abandoned children, cared for them and brought them up immersed in the teachings of Christ. Because of this, we believe God is calling us to help Edwin and Bujji carry the burden (Gal. 6:2) of caring for these orphans (James 1:27) by either building or purchasing a home - at the cost of $75,000 USD - where they and the 25+ precious children they care for can live without the constant threat of being displaced.

[ Goal 2: Support a Christian School in an Impoverished Village]:
**GOAL MET!**The David Levi Guinn School was started with the help of our friends, Jami and Jeff and named in memory of their son, Levi. The school offers free education to the village children (whose parents would otherwise be unable to afford to send their kids to government schools). In addition to traditional education, the kids (who are primarily from Hindu and Muslim families) are taught about the Bible and Jesus Christ. We are praying for ways to be able to pay the operational expenses of the school, specifically the yearly lease and staff salaries. (Just to give you an idea, the teachers are paid $20-28/ month based on their experience.)

[ Goal 3: Provide Sponsors for the Kids ]:
In October 2011, David and Stephanie will travel back to Narasaraopet to research the cost of providing for the basic needs of every child each month. Once the exact amount is determined, as well as the most appropriate way to administrate the program, we will offer sponsorship opportunities to those who want to meet basic tangible needs for these children.
